Bluebird Memories
This painting began with a quiet moment shared with my mom while she was living at Shepherd's Care. We came across an image of a bluebird in a magazine, and she lit up — she loved bluebirds. I painted it in her memory.
Waddle, Waddle
They don’t really sing — they honk, chatter, and waddle their way across the field — and somehow that makes them even more endearing.
This painting grew out of a simple moment of happiness: watching these birds move together, hearing their funny little sounds, and realizing how easy it is to miss such joy if we’re not paying attention. It’s a celebration of the small, ordinary music of life that still finds us, even when we aren’t listening for it.
